Organize life into separate Spaces — a Family space for home, a Team space for work — each with its own members, predefined Areas (Kitchen, Garage, Office… or Development, Design, Marketing…) and fully isolated, private-by-default data. The heart of paperr. Create, assign, schedule and complete tasks with sub-tasks, tags, comments and file attachments, plus a markdown notes scratchpad on each one. Due dates and explicit start/end time blocks that surface on the Calendar, recurrence including specific weekdays, and smart Today / Overdue views with drag-and-drop and bulk actions across every member.

Deep Work Mode
Pick a task, go fullscreen, and get nothing else until you're done. A distraction-free Pomodoro or count-up timer runs beside the full task detail and its sub-tasks, with a "still working?" check-in every 15 minutes (a 2-minute auto-stop failsafe), session time logged per task, and a shared widget showing who on your team is heads-down right now.
Projects
Board (Kanban), List and Phases views, per-phase milestones with optional due dates, a Watch toggle for activity notifications, per-project members and a filtered feed.
Calendar
Day / Week / Month / Agenda views, events with attendees, habit time-of-day dividers and per-day habit rings alongside tasks, a mini month picker, quick-add box, per-day weather and an "up next" rail.
Lists
Lightweight checklist lists with custom icons and an emoji picker — groceries, packing, honey-do. Items can optionally link to a full task or project.
Notebooks
An Obsidian-style knowledge base of full markdown notes — recipes, manuals, meeting notes, house docs. A shared brain for your space.

Time-anchored habits that auto-reset daily — Protocols (goal buckets), a chronological Day Arc timeline, and Progress with streaks and per-protocol stats.

Pomodoro, Stopwatch, reusable named Timers, guided Breathe (box / 4-7-8 / calm), Meditate, Ambient Sound, a flip-clock Clock with alarms — full-screen or pinned to your board.

Not a chatbot — a doer.
dotAi runs on paperr's bundled AI server — a small AI model that runs on as little as CPU in under 2GB of RAM, taps your iGPU or GPU when available (scaling to the hardware you have), and auto-offloads when idle — or your own Ollama / LM Studio. It uses tool-calling to read and edit your tasks, lists, projects and calendar on command. Since 0.1.2 every tool is space-scoped and fail-closed, so it only ever touches the space you're in. Don't love a reply? Regenerate it, then flip between every alternate response with the arrow buttons underneath.
